An article about the guys who stole my truck......They also left behind their CD player, cell phone, and their CD in the CD player "Cutmasters 3 - The Hood News" with the radio cranked up, and the base thumping. LOL. Plus, when we picked up the truck there was finger print dust EVERYWHERE, and police seal tape across all the doors from the forensics unit. But....the truck is back in my posession, with no obvious damage anywhere! YAY!!!! Oh, and the rental car I had for most of last week was a Jeep Compass, which Ironically, doesn't have a compass in it...go figure.
Poorly Planned Robbery Leads To Arrests Outside Police Station

Let's face it - punks who prey on the innocent aren't the smartest of people at the best of times. But you might think two accused criminal masterminds might have learned this simple lesson: don't try to rob somebody right outside a police station. That's what cops in 13 Division on Eglinton Ave. West claim happened Thursday morning, when a 17-year-old boy was approached by a man as he walked along the street at 1:15am.
Cops say an unknown male grabbed the startled teen, pulled out a knife and demanded the kid's wallet. A second guy - wearing a bandana across his face - then emerged from the shadows and put his own mitts on the terrified target. But the quick thinking youngster realized where he was and started screaming 'police!' at the top of his lungs.
In the still of the night, his cries reached inside the building and those on duty heard his pleas and rushed to the rescue. The two would-be bandits took off on foot with the police in hot pursuit. Both were arrested a short distance away. The teen didn't escape his close call without injury. He wasn't aware until after the incident was over that one of the men had stabbed him. He was treated in hospital for the wound and released.
A 21-year-old Brampton man and a 19-year-old Toronto male are both facing robbery and assault charges.
