Is the PC Fading away 2007-11-19
In yesterday's MSNBC webssite they had an article about folks in Japan not buying PCs as much as they used to. Now they want Plasma/LCD TVs, high-end cellphones and other high end electronics. To which I say "Duh"!
If everyone there has the latest & greatest laptop and desktop, it is natural they want other high end stuff because the current crop of PCs doesn't offer any new must-have features and it may be a shock to most manufacturers but you don't have to buy a new PC eve..

A year with a Pocket PC 2007-11-19
I've now spent a year with my Windows Mobile 5, Pocket Loox n560, so how has it been?
To give a decent account of the year I need to consider the hardware (Loox n560) and the software, obviously they come together but both have the pro's and con's. Also I thought that rather than go into some magazine style review I thought I'd say what I wanted it to do and if it managed it, so here goes...
Personal Assistant - calendar, meetings, contacts, etc
